Eighth  Annual Olympic Peninsula Fiber Farm Tour

Saturday & Sunday, September 17th & 18th, 2016 10:00 am - 4:00pm

Welcome to the informational website for the Eighth Annual Olympic Peninsula Fiber Farm Tour.  Four farm families in Jefferson County are opening their barn gates so you can visit their animals and browse through their "farm fresh" fiber products.  If you are a spinner or knitter, we encourage you to bring your projects and spend some time enjoying the atmosphere while doing what you love most.  For everyone, there will be spinning and weaving demonstrations and lots of wonderful wool products for sale.

This tour is being offered in conjunction with the Washington State University Cooperative Extension Farm Tour that is featuring many agricultural farms in Jefferson County.  For a map of all the farms on the tour, including ours, please pick up a guide at the Chimacum Corner Farm Stand in Chimacum or stop at any one of the farms on the tour.

There is no charge for visiting our farms.  However, if you would like to make a donation of $10 to help support the Small Farms Program at WSU Jefferson County Extension, you may do so by purchasing a ticket to the event.

And if you would like to watch a short video about the Farm Tour, you can watch it

Purchase items from any farm vendors and receive a free ticket to enter a raffle to win a $50 gift certificate to Doc's Marina Grill in Port Townsend or on Bainbridge Island.

So come for a spin on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula and hunt for fiber treasure!
